IJIK Copyright and Open Access Licensing Policy

1. Open Access Statement

The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Knowledge (IJIK) is a fully open-access journal. All articles published in IJIK are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or registration barriers.

2. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)

All articles published in IJIK are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under the terms of this license, users and readers are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

Under the following condition:

  • Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the original source of publication (IJIK), provide a link to the Creative Commons license, and indicate if changes were made.

3. Copyright Retention by Authors

In accordance with open-access publishing principles:

  • Authors retain full copyright of their work without restrictions.

  • Authors grant IJIK a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and distribute the article as the original publisher.

  • Authors retain the right to enter into separate, non-exclusive distribution arrangements for the published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository, include it in a book, or share it on academic networking sites), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in IJIK.

4. Publishing Rights

By submitting a manuscript to IJIK, the author(s) grant the journal:

  1. The right of first publication of the work.

  2. The right to identify IJIK as the original publisher.

  3. The right to migrate, index, and archive the work in digital databases, index services, and digital repositories (e.g., Crossref, OpenAlex, Web of Science).

5. Self-Archiving & Repository Policy (Green Open Access)

IJIK permits and encourages authors to deposit all versions of their paper in institutional or other repositories of their choice:

  • Pre-print Version: Authors may archive the submitted manuscript prior to peer review.

  • Post-print Version: Authors may archive the accepted manuscript following peer review.

  • Publisher's PDF Version: Authors may archive the final published PDF immediately upon publication.

In all cases, a link to the published article on the IJIK website ([https://www.ijikjournal.com](https://www.ijikjournal.com)) and its assigned DOI must be included in the repository record.
